Terms of Service

These Terms govern your access to and use of HookFixer’s website and AI-assisted creative services. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Service
HookFixer provides AI-assisted creative-writing and lyric-editing tools, including Full Song Doctor and Free Hook Check.
Full Song Doctor reviews complete lyrics, identifies material that may already be working, analyzes language and section function, and may provide focused editing suggestions. The Service may also provide result drafts and export tools.
The Service is a creative support tool. It is not a professional legal, publishing, copyright-clearance, rights-management or music-distribution service.
2. Free trials and experimental features
Email-verified accounts may receive limited free trials. Some features may be experimental or early-access services. Features, availability, usage limits and output formats may change; access may be limited or suspended for security, abuse or operational reasons.
3. User Content and limited processing license
You retain ownership of User Content you submit. You represent that you own or have the rights necessary to submit and process that material through the Service.
You grant HookFixer a limited, non-exclusive right to process, transmit, store and transform User Content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot and provide the Service and comply with applicable law.
4. AI-assisted output
AI-generated or AI-assisted output may contain errors, awkward wording, inaccurate interpretations or suggestions that are not suitable for your song. You are responsible for reviewing and deciding whether to use any suggestion.
We do not guarantee that a suggestion will improve a song, increase streams, improve commercial performance, secure a publishing or recording deal, or produce any particular artistic result.
5. Originality, copyright and melody limitations
The Service does not determine whether lyrics are legally original, copyrightable, non-infringing or cleared for commercial use.
Unless a feature explicitly analyzes supported audio or melody information, Full Song Doctor evaluates lyrics only and does not verify exact melody fit, vocal range, musical phrasing or performance suitability.
6. Your responsibility and output rights
You remain the final editor and are responsible for the lyrics and other content you choose to publish, record, distribute or commercialize.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, HookFixer does not claim ownership of the creative output delivered specifically to you. Because AI systems may generate similar or identical material for different users, we do not guarantee that output is unique or exclusive.
7. Prohibited use
You may not submit material you do not have permission to use; attempt to infringe third-party rights; request unlawful artist or song imitation; misuse the Service; bypass usage limits; gain unauthorized access; scrape protected systems; interfere with infrastructure; or use the Service unlawfully.
8. Availability and suspension
The Service may be changed, suspended or discontinued. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may restrict or terminate access for security, abuse, legal or operational reasons or for violation of these Terms.
9. Payment
The current free trial has no active paid checkout unless the Service expressly displays one in the future.
10. Third-party services
The Service may rely on hosting, AI, email, analytics and infrastructure providers. HookFixer is independent and is not endorsed by or affiliated with those providers unless expressly stated otherwise.
11. Disclaimers
The Service and output are provided “as is” and “as available,” to the maximum extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, originality, uninterrupted availability and non-infringement.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HookFixer is not liable for indirect, consequential, special or punitive damages, including lost profits, claims, takedowns, demonetization or reliance on output. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the specific Service giving rise to the claim, or USD 10 if no amount was paid, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
13. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and indemnify HookFixer against claims arising from your User Content, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of third-party rights.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service changes. Continued use after an updated effective date means you accept the revised Terms, subject to applicable law.
