Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Hook Fixer (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use hookfixer.com and our AI-assisted creative service.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide, including email, transaction identifiers, support communications and User Content such as lyric hooks, genre, mood and creative context. Payments are handled by PayPal; we do not collect or store full card details.

We may receive security and usage information such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, form interactions and error logs. Abuse-control identifiers use keyed HMACs where practical.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide and improve the Service, process payments, generate and email results, prevent fraud and abuse, respond to support, comply with law, and enforce our terms. We do not send lyric text, AI results, email addresses or private submission tokens to analytics.

3. AI-assisted processing

User Content may be sent to configured AI providers and other processors needed to generate and deliver your result. Do not submit confidential, highly sensitive, proprietary or commercially valuable material unless you are comfortable using an AI-assisted online service. We do not claim ownership of your User Content.

4. Service providers

We may use Cloudflare for hosting, D1 and queues; PayPal for payment; OpenAI-compatible systems for AI processing; Resend for transactional email; Turnstile for anti-bot protection; and Google Analytics for privacy-limited site measurement.

5. Retention and security

We retain records only as reasonably necessary for delivery, support, fraud prevention, legal/accounting obligations and dispute resolution. We use access controls, secret isolation, encrypted transport, token hashing and structured operational logging, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.

6. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability or restriction, and may opt out of marketing. Transactional messages may still be sent. Contact us to exercise applicable rights.

7. Children and international use

The Service is not directed to children under 13. Information may be processed in countries with different data-protection laws, subject to applicable safeguards.
